A large, well-established health system in the Greater Houston area is seeking a Lead Net Revenue Analyst-Healthcare to join their finance team. This is a lead-level role for an experienced net revenue professional who has hands-on Kodiak (Crowe RCA) experience and wants to bring that expertise to a high-performing team. You'll play a key part in the monthly close process, contract performance trending, and net revenue analysis for a large, complex healthcare organization.
This role is Hybrid (partly remote and partly onsite)
What You’ll Do
Serve as a lead analyst, acting as preceptor, mentor, and resource for less experienced staff
Support the monthly financial close process, with a focus on data accuracy, trend model preparation, rate variance research, and clear communication of findings
Prepare and reconcile journal entries
Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends that inform management decision-making
Contribute to the development of accounting reserve methodologies
Prepare schedules for financial reporting to external parties, including auditors
Build understanding of how revenue cycle and reimbursement sources connect to and impact net revenue performance
Prepare Managed Care contract performance trending reports
Partner with departments across the organization, including finance executives
Contribute to cross-departmental projects and net revenue software implementations
Stay current on government and commercial reimbursement and regulatory changes
Participate actively in the Crowe RCA user community
Support ongoing professional development through continuing education and skills competency requirements
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred); advanced degree a plus
CPA preferred
Minimum 7 years of net revenue work experience
Kodiak (Crowe RCA) experience required
Strong revenue accounting knowledge and experience
Solid analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful net revenue observations
Working knowledge of net revenue and reimbursement structures for both commercial and government payors
Experience pulling data from systems such as Excel, Lawson, EPSI, and Crowe RCA
Effective oral and written communication skills
