Senior Epic Analyst-Emergency Department

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a large health system in the greater Houston area to find a Senior Epic Analyst to join their team. This role is a great fit for someone with strong Epic build and analysis experience who's comfortable working across clinical workflows and translating stakeholder needs into system design. Emergency Department experience is highly preferred given the current team needs, but the role isn't limited to that scope. The position offers a hybrid schedule for candidates based in Texas.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as an Epic analyst supporting clinical workflow build and optimization
• Partner with clinical leadership, physicians, and nursing staff to gather requirements and translate them into system design
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to documentation, orders, and charge capture within Epic
• Support system upgrades, testing, and go-live activities
• Collaborate with other Epic application teams to ensure integration across the build
• Maintain compliance with system governance, change control, and documentation standards

What We’re Looking For

• Epic certification(s) required
• Emergency Department experience highly preferred
• Ability to work hybrid within Texas preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clinical stakeholders
