About the Opportunity

A regional health system located in Western North Carolina is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join its imaging services team. This role is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures with precision and care, ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

What You’ll Do

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, explaining the process to ensure patient comfort and cooperation
• Operate CT equipment and associated technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Administer contrast media as ordered, monitoring patients for adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
• Maintain CT equipment, reporting malfunctions and coordinating necessary maintenance
• Participate in quality assurance and continuing education activities

What We’re Looking For

• Associate's Degree required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT certification with additional certification in CT
• If not currently certified in CT, certification must be obtained within one year of date of hire or transfer into the position
